Scope and Introduction
Welcome to Breezm—where personalization meets privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Coptiq Inc. and Coptiq Co. Ltd (collectively, “Breezm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handle information in connection with the Breezm mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you consent to the practices described here. This policy applies only to information collected through the App.
-
Information We Do Not Collect
At Breezm, privacy is our priority. To protect your identity, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, FaceID, or any other directly personally identifiable information (PII).
- Data that can be used to track you across apps or devices.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Period.
-
Information We Do Collect
To deliver a seamless, personalized experience, we collect only anonymous data—nothing tied to your real-world identity. Specifically:
- Device and Usage Data: We collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and usage logs to improve performance, stability, and user experience. This data is aggregated and fully anonymized—it cannot be used to identify you.
- App Device ID: To support your privacy rights (such as data deletion requests for retained anonymized facial measurements), Breezm assigns a unique, app-specific identifier (“App Device ID”) to your device for each App installation. This ID is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking across apps, devices, or reinstallations. This ID is essential for processing a data removal request for the data associated with that specific App installation. If you delete and reinstall the App, a new ID is assigned, and data associated with a prior App Device ID cannot be accessed, restored, or removed using the new ID.
- Facial Data (including TrueDepth API Usage) : When you use our face analysis features and take a selfie, Breezm processes your facial scan data. This includes data obtained from Apple's TrueDepth camera technology (if applicable on your device), which provides depth map and facial feature data. The raw facial scan data and any raw data obtained via the TrueDepth API are processed ephemerally and in real-time on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers, stored by Breezm, or shared with third parties. This raw data is used solely to immediately extract specific anonymized facial measurements (such as Face Width, Chin Width, Nose Height, Nose Length) for personalized eyewear recommendations. Once these anonymized measurements are extracted, the raw facial scan data and raw TrueDepth data are instantly discarded. We do not use TrueDepth API data for user authentication, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the core functionality of personalized recommendations within the app. This data is not linked to you as an individual and is not used to identify you. We do not collect or store your FaceID.
- Retention of Anonymized Facial Measurements: We do retain these extracted anonymized facial measurements (e.g., Face Width, Chin Width, Nose Height, Nose Length). These measurements are stripped of any direct identifiers and are not linked to your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information. These anonymized facial measurements are retained for a maximum period of 5 years from the date of collection, or until you request deletion of your App Device ID as described below, whichever comes first. This retention is crucial for internal product development and design research, allowing us to analyze long-term trends in facial dimensions to continuously improve and tailor our future eyewear frames and style recommendations to a diverse user base. This data is used exclusively for internal analytical purposes and is never shared, sold, rented, or traded with any third parties.
- Advertising Data (Optional): If you consent through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework, the App may share device identifiers and usage data with Google AdMob and its partners to display and measure personalized ads. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.
-
How We Use Your Information
We use your anonymous data only to:
- Provide face analysis and personalized style recommendations.
- Improve our product offerings, functionality, features, and user experience.
- Analyze usage for troubleshooting and product development.
- Display advertisements (if you have consented to tracking).
All data is used in strict compliance with this policy and applicable laws.

Data Sharing
Your privacy comes first. We never share your raw facial scan data or your anonymized facial measurements with third parties. To enhance your experience, however, we securely share certain types of user-provided content with trusted third-party service providers.
- Data Sharing with Third-Party Service Providers:
- User prompts and anonymized textual descriptions derived from our analysis (not raw facial data or selfie photos) may be shared with OpenAI’s ChatGPT for the generation of textual content for personalized hairstyle and clothing recommendations. OpenAI, as a service provider, securely retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days primarily to monitor for and prevent abuse of their services, after which this data is automatically deleted from their systems. OpenAI’s use of your data is limited to the scope specified in our agreements and is prohibited from using it for their own training, marketing, or secondary purposes. We encourage you to review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for complete details on their data handling practices.
- User-provided selfie photos (specifically, the image data without associated facial measurements) may be securely shared and with Andor Communications Private Ltd’s LightX for the image content generation. LightX securely retains these uploaded input images and prompts for a maximum period of 24 hours, after which they are automatically deleted from their systems. The generated output images (results) are never saved on LightX's servers after delivery to you. This data is processed to fulfill our API requests and is not used by LightX for model training or any other secondary purpose. We encourage you to review LightX's Privacy Policy for complete details.
- Advertising Data: You can manage your advertising preferences from Google AdMob and opt out of personalized advertising at any time. The App may use cookies or similar technologies to collect device and usage data for analytics purposes. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
-
Your Rights & Choices
- Children’s Privacy : The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately by following the instruction below.
- Data Removal Requests: If you wish to delete data you have provided to the App, please contact us and provide your current App Device ID, which can be found within the Disclaimer page accessible by clicking on "Terms of Service" at the bottom of the screen when you start the App. We will use this identifier solely to locate and remove your data. Please note that this process is only possible while the App remains installed under the same App Device ID—once the App is uninstalled, the App Device ID is no longer valid and associated data cannot be deleted upon request.
- Advertising Preferences: You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings or via Advertiser’s Ad Settings.
- No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track you across apps, websites, or devices.
-
Cookies and Analytics
The App may use cookies or similar technologies to collect device and usage data for analytics purposes. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
-
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
-
Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or regulations change. The latest version will always be available in the App. We do not collect email addresses, so we are unable to notify users directly of changes. Your continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
- If any part of this Privacy Policy is found to conflict with your local privacy laws, that part will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary, without affecting the validity of the rest of the policy.
